Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China

On 30 November, our AEDs successfully “went live” in the Shanghai Tower, to provide life safety emergency support.

The Shanghai Tower is 632m (2,073ft) high building, which is the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world with 121 floors above ground level. Located at the core area of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Centre in Pudong, it is a vertical city and a mixed-use structure, with office spaces, a hotel, exhibition halls and both business and tourism functionalities. The Shanghai Tower has a unique structure that spirals up with a 120-degree inclination, with a curved façade and spiraling form symbolizing modern China.

The AED deployment at the Shanghai Tower has boosted confidence of many of our distribution partners in China; many now see a broader market prospect for our Primedic AEDs!

Support for the "Kreuznach rettet Leben (Kreuznach saves lives)"

campaign Defibrillator now available in the Media Markt store

Bad Kreuznach, 13.11.2014: A defibrillator was recently installed in the entrance area of the Bad Kreuznach Media Markt in order to provide immediate aid to people who go into sudden cardiac arrest. By doing this, the electronics retailer has made its own contribution to the "Kreuznach saves lives" campaign initiated by the German Red Cross. Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer had recently encouraged the city's businesspeople to get involved in the campaign. "We reacted straight away and acquired the device. Media Markt is a member of PRO City and we received a grant of €300.00 from them. We have also trained our employees to be able to safely operate the device in an emergency", says Florian Prexl, managing director of the Bad Kreuznach Media Markt.
