First Mining AED Unveiled at Coal Expo, Tackling Underground Emergency Response Issues
07/21/2025
On June 26, Primedic launched the first mining-specific AED in China (Model KA1J, Coal Safety Certification No.: MLF250002) at the Ordos International Coal Expo. This breakthrough device overcomes methane environment restrictions in mines by utilizing laser detection technology (10-meter range monitoring). It automatically cuts off power when methane levels exceed safety limits, ensuring safe rescue operations.
[Technical Advantages]
Dual-System Smart Integration
Automatically cuts power and triggers an alarm when methane concentration exceeds 1%, ensuring rescue safety.
Laser-Based Methane Detection
Offers wider coverage (10-meter radius) compared to other detection methods, with minimal environmental interference and no frequent recalibration required.
Biphasic Defibrillation Technology
Automatically adjusts impedance, ready to deliver a shock within 6 seconds. With a maximum defibrillation energy of 360J for adults, it meets the emergency rescue needs of miners of all body types.
[Application Scenarios]
Primedic AEDs have been deployed in above-ground areas (canteens, dormitories, etc.) of mining enterprises such as Huozhou Coal Power and Xuzhou Mining Group, working in tandem with M250/Y/H7 series AEDs and first-aid kits to create an integrated emergency response system.
The launch of the mining-specific AED fills the critical gap in underground emergency care, establishing a comprehensive "above-ground + underground" safety network.
