Job Description

We are looking for a professional and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team!
As an DevOps Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing
our CI/CD pipelines of medical devices, including automated and manual external defibrillators.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administration of our CI/CD/CT environment of our products development process.
  • Collaborate with our software team to incorporate new DevOps concepts into their pipelines.
  • Architect new concepts and approaches to increase the automatization continuously.
  • The management and release of code and system resources in versions using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery is in your hands.
  • With your experience you optimize our current processes and are thus an important part on our growth path. You will also train and coach teammates.
  • Experience the complete lifecycle of a product and be part of the international team that is responsible for this product.
  • Responsible for documenting operating procedures and configurations

Requirements and qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • 1+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer with good knowledge of DevOps practices
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering or similar role
  • Solid programming experience in programming languages like Java
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/DSL
  • Good understanding of C/C++ programming languages and build technologies
  • Good knowledge in source control tools like Subversion or Git
  • Strong Communication Skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-Motivated and working independently
  • Proficiency in English and German is essential

Bonus skills

  • Experience with the Apache Groovy programming language
