The industry focus is on medical technology, health, pharmaceuticals, care and the supply industry. MEDICA is organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and sponsored by Gesellschaft Deutscher Krankenhaustag mbH (GDK). The fair takes place together with COMPAMED - International Trade Fair High tech solutions for Medical Technologies, annually in November at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. The year of foundation was 1969.
