We are looking for a professional and experienced Software requirements Engineer to join our team! As a Software requirements Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for writing and administering the software requirements of medical devices, including automated and manual external defibrillators.
Duties and responsibilities
Become our team's main stakeholder concerning software requirements
Create Software requirements based/derived from system requirements and risk reduction measures
Work together with other stakeholders to facilitate requirements creation
Maintain entire requirement management process (Elicitation, Specification, Negotiation, Review, Traceability, Version Control and Baselines)
Helping to create traceability matrix and to moderate its maintenance
Coordinate with Software Development and Verification teams
Requirements and qualifications
Master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
3 years of experience in the field of requirements engineering
Extensive knowledge of requirements management and requirement standards
Extensive experience in creating technical specifications
Professional experience in embedded software development, ideally in the field of medical devices
Knowledge of IEC 62304 or other software lifecycle standards
Ability to work as part of a team
Fluent in English especially in writing
Proficiency in German is essential
Bonus skills
Able to understand electronics schematics
